Dan C. Kelley
Mr. Kelley graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business in 1984 and with a Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in 1990.
Mr. Kelley is a founding partner of the firm. His practice has been devoted to the representation of insurance companies, oil and gas companies, and other corporations which involve the areas of workers’ compensation, insurance defense litigation, commercial and business law, oil and gas matters, and general litigation. Mr. Kelley has received defense verdicts in cases involving premises liability, automobile collisions, personal injury and property damage, and workers’ compensation. Mr. Kelley has also received plaintiff verdicts representing various corporations in commercial disputes involving property damages and lost profits. Mr. Kelley has appeared before several administrative agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, the Texas Employment Commission, and the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation.
Mr. Kelley has been admitted to practice before all Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona state courts. He is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and United States Tax Court. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Kelley is a licensed certified public accountant.
